I am an Undergraduate Student at the University of Missouri St. Louis. I changed my major last semester to Information Systems and thought the UMSL AITP chapter would be a great way to connect with other IT professionals and to get more involved with school activities. I have been a member of our UMSL AITP chapter since September 2017, but I officially became the Vice President in January 2018. I look forward to spending my last year working with AITP and seeing where it will help me go in the future.
I am from the state of Missouri but while growing up I did visit family in Texas. I graduated high school from Festus High School in 2003. I went to Saint Louis Community College and graduated with an Associate degree in Business Management in 2016. I then started my path with UMSL in 2016 for my degree in Information Systems and Minor in Cyber Security. I joined as the Treasurer in August 2017 and have been helping with the organization and professional’s meetings ever since.

I am an undergraduate at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. I am an Information Systems major, with a minor in economics. AITP is truly a great way to connect to professionals in the IT industry, which is the primary reason I joined. Aside from this, it’s also a nice way to connect with other students in the same degree program as I, because you know right off the bat that you already share something in common. I became the Secretary and the SGA Representative in late January of 2018.
